In our last blog post, we discussed the many benefits of having a photo booth at your wedding, graduation party or other celebration.  Today, we wanted to discuss how a photo booth can be the perfect feature at fundraiser or charitable event.  Not only can a photo booth help earn you more donations, it can also provide your guests with a unique parting gift that symbolizes your appreciation.

Fundraisers and charity events are great ways to give back to organizations you care about, while having a fun and entertaining time with friends and colleagues.  When throwing a fundraiser for a great cause, hosts love guests to remember the event in a special way, and photo booths help guests become engaged in the spirit of the event. Photo booths also greatly compliment the other entertainment features of these kinds of events; the music, delicious food, and guest speakers all help to make the event complete.

Here are just a few ways that photo booths can be used at your next fundraiser:

• Pictures can be taken of the hosts, band members, and featured guests, and put into an album to be auctioned off; which brings in more money to add to the fundraising total.
• Photos can also be sold during the event to raise even more money.
• The host of the event can choose to sell tickets to the photo booth, placing them on guest’s tables. Once guests know that all proceeds are also going towards the fundraiser, they will jump for the chance to hop into the photo booth and take a snapshot for charity.
• Using the photo booth for contests is another way to incorporate a fun activity into your fundraiser or charity event. The DJ or host can encourage all guests to participate in the photo contest throughout the event, choosing a winner at the end of the night. The collection of photos can also be given away as a prize and keepsake from the event.
• Fun props with your charity’s logo can be given out at the beginning of the event and guests can be asked to take photos with the props. Your charity can use these photos later for marketing purposes, or showcase them on their website, encouraging others to give.

There are many creative ways that photo booths can be used to enhance your fundraiser. Guests always love to take something away from the events they attend, and photos are a perfect way for them to do that and become an active part of the event.
